We offer internationally certified Martial Arts instruction in the ancient Korean martial art of Soo Bahk Do for any age. Benefits of Soo Bahk Do Training

Physical Well-Being

Through intense physical exercise students will burn body fat and strengthen muscle and joints.

Self-Confidence

We emphasize discipline of the body, calming of the mind and cultivation of the spirit. Self-confidence is at the very heart of the art of Soo Bahk Do and students will develop an inner strength which will help them to react correctly in many confrontational situations, physical or otherwise.

Focus

Focus is one of the primary concepts of Soo Bahk Do. Our adult members notice a difference in focus a after a short time training.

Discipline & Respect

It is a requirement in the Dojang that students are respectful of their Instructors, senior, and fellow Students. This behavior comes with very little direct teaching, and manifests itself outside of training as well.

Community

We are a large, international, closely-knit group of people who come from all different backgrounds but who, through their common interest in Soo Bahk Do, have become a family unit that cares for and supports each other in all things.

Federation Recognition

In order to ensure a consistent curriculum and adherence to the founder’s vision of this Martial Art, all Soo Bahk Do schools must have Federation approval to use the name “Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan” (手搏道武德館). By studying at a Federation-certified DoJang, our students are assured consistent, standardized, highest quality of training around the world. All instruction is performed by World Class Instructors, certified by the United States Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation, and the Korean Soo Bahk Do Association. All Certified instructors and assistant instructors are required by the Federation to have yearly background checks and take yearly child safety instruction.

As practitioners, we compete not with others but within ourselves and develop our skills to the best of abilities. Inside the DoJang (Training Area), we hone our skills. In the community, we take pride in the discipline and philosophy, which make us unique among Martial Arts Practitioners.

Studio Certification number is TA605
