Y-ARMS is a 21st Century Community Learning Center grant program open to students in grades 5 through 8.

The program is located at the Athol Royalston Middle School (ARMS) where students have fun, learn new skills and ideas, and make good friends in warm and supportive atmosphere.

Staffing consists of YMCA employees as well as school day teachers and paraprofessionals. Healthy snacks and milk are offered daily along with physical activity, homework help, teacher led educational activities, and creative free time. Teacher led activities change throughout the year and can range from cooking and STEM to knitting and arts and crafts.

Program hours are from the end of school until 5:00 Monday through Thursday. Y-ARMS is not available on 1/2 days or school vacation days. Bus transportation may be available for those that need it.

This program is free of charge to all students at ARMS.
