Y-ACES is an EEC licensed childcare program for Grades K-4 where children have fun, learn new skills and ideas, and make good friends in a warm and supportive atmosphere. Out-of-school time is filled with a range of hands-on experiences such as sports and games, arts and crafts, clubs, and cooking.
Our caring adult staff is committed to helping every child grow in self-confidence and develop healthy relationships while at the Y. We also work to nurture in the children the YMCA values of caring, honesty, responsibility and respect. We maintain a ratio of 13 children per counselor or smaller and all staff members have been CORI and SORI checked.
Y-ACES is open year round with the exception of a few holidays. Children from the Athol Community Elementary School and the Royalston Community School are able to take part in this vibrant after school experience. We are also open during school Early Release Days. Nutritious snacks and drinks aligned to HEPA standards are provided.

Registration forms must be completed prior to enrollment and attendance. Registration forms and Parent Manuals are available at the front desk of the YMCA and online. Limited financial aid is available.
