Boating, swimming, sports, arts & crafts and more… your best summer ever awaits at Camp Wiyaka!

Camp Wiyaka is the Athol Area YMCA’s residential summer camp located on the shore of Sandy Pond in the hills of Richmond, NH, just 20 minutes away from Athol and Orange. Serving a maximum of 72 campers per week we have the unique opportunity to create a small nature based community atmosphere, a place where campers and staff can get to know each other in the great outdoors. Campers and counselors sleep in bunk beds sheltered by canvas tents on wooden platforms. Meals are served family style in the dining hall and the days are spent doing traditional summer camp activities such as swimming, sports and art. Camp Wiyaka offers both co-ed and single gender sessions for campers ages 7 to 15. Camp Wiyaka strives to offer a fun opportunity for young people to forge a community and practice/develop a healthy sense of independence.
