For children in grades K – 5 held at the Athol Community Elementary School

Y-ACES is an EEC licensed childcare program for Grades K-5 where children have fun, learn new
skills and ideas, and make good friends in a warm and supportive atmosphere. Out-of- school
time is filled with range of hands-on experiences such as sports and games, arts and crafts,
clubs, and cooking.

Staffing

Our caring adult staff is committed to helping every child grow in self-confidence and develop
healthy relationships while at the Y. We also work to nurture in the children the YMCA values of
caring, honesty, responsibility and respect. We maintain a ratio of 13 children per educator or
smaller and all staff members have been CORI and SORI checked.

Licensing Agency

The Y-ACES program is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care
(EEC) and is mandated to uphold all EEC rules and regulations pertaining to school age childcare
licensing. Our school age program operates for the school year and part of the summer.
